Sunday night at the bayou and school starts tomorrow. We have 7 weeks left, 35 days of classes. Boy this year went fast. Susan is still in New Jersey, I have had a busy day, cut some grass, (not all of it), washed some dishes (not all of them), cleaned the truck (only the back seat), swept the deck (some of it). You see I have been studying the ways and customs of the Navajo. They believed that to finish something completely was to cramp the spirit of the creator so they always left something undone. They were famous for leaving a faint imperfection in their beautiful blankets, usually a thin line from somewhere in the middle of the blanket to the edge with a fine thread left dangling. They called this the "spirit outlet." I think this is such a great idea that I will adopt it as my life's "credo."
