Another great day in a beautiful city.  We went to Scripps Aquarium.  If you haven't been there yet take a half day and go.  It is a great place to take the kids.  They have many things for the kids to do including touchy, feely tide pools.  It's not as expensive as the zoo and you don't have to walk several miles to see everything.  When you need a break just go out back  enjoy the view, sit in the sun, and consider how lucky you are to be alive.
