Today I had the genuine pleasure of tagging along while two bright, fun, very well behaved little girls explored the San Diego Zoo.  It doesn't get much better than that.  We pretty much covered everything but the reptile house.  Been there, done that at another time.  The kids enjoyed themselves very much and so did I. 
    Tonight Christine, myself, and a friend had dinner at Bully's in Del Mar.  A beautiful night and on the way back I stopped, parked along the beach south of the Del Mar race track and just listened to the waves.  They never stop, think about that, they have been pounding that shore for millions of years.  If they could only tell us what they have seen over the millennia what stories we would hear.  There is a certain satisfaction in knowing that they will continue to pound that shore long after we humans have become extinct.  Anyway, I digress.
